The opera "Ha-Dybuk" by the american jewish composer of our time, Dr. Solomon Epstein, is a three act modern piece, sung in the Yiddish language.

The performance in "Suzan Dalal" hall, Tel-Aviv, April 1999, was a world premier of this production - honored by the presence of the composer.

The cast consisted of Israeli singers and a Swedish soprano in the role of 'Leye' - Mrs. Kamila Grisel.

The title role of 'Hanan' (tenor) is presented by virtuos-coloratura musical lines, with jewish-hazanic oriented melodies.

The opera performances were conducted by Mr. Ronen Borschevsky, winner of the 'Min-On' Tokio conducting competition- Japan, and were professionally fully recorded and edited for television broadcasting.
